George Otieno

Mr. George Otieno has over 40 years of professional experience in the Insurance Industry, with 29 years in Reinsurance. He holds an MBA Degree from the University of Lagos and a Chartered Insurance Institute (FCII) from Chartered Insurance Institute of London. He was the CEO of ATI-ACA now ATIDI a Pan African Trade and Investment Insurer, between 2010 to 2020 after serving as the Regional Director of the African Reinsurance Corporation (Africa Re) since
September 2004 where he was responsible for growing Africa Re’s Business in 13 Countries in East and Southern Africa. Prior to that he was Regional Director for West Africa and later Director of Central and Technical Operations between 1994-2004 both in Lagos. He is currently the Chairman of Afrisure Risk Limited a financial Risk Consultancy Firm specializing in Trade and Investment Risks.
